Nortonthorpe Sports Club: a history

The Nortonthorpe grounds were donated by the Nortonthorpe family to the community in 1902. The grounds have to remain as a community asset and we are proud to have been custodians for over 120 years. We strive to grow the club to offer something for everyone in the community. From humble beginnings as a field, we have two award winning football pictures, a nature trail, small wooded area and fantastic views across the Dearne Valley.
